Description:
A new development of 10 stunning flint walled, terraced houses and accompanying garages in East Dean, has been finished off perfectly using Keymer's handcrafted clay tiles. The new homes required approximately 30,000 Ditchling tiles from Keymer and now blend effortlessly with their stunning surroundings.
The recommendation to use Keymer came from Richard Jones of RFJones Roofing Contractors who has used Keymer tiles in his work for over 40 years. Richard said, "The local council wanted a tile that would mix in with the other clay tiled roofs in the area. Keymer's handcrafted Ditchling tiles in dark have added character and also fit in perfectly. I'm really pleased with the end result."
The development named Gore Farm Close is made up of one block of six and an adjacent block of four two bedroom houses. An old stable building nearby was converted in to six garages. Glen Lines of the projects main contractor GMLines Building and Development commented, "We're delighted with the result and would definitely use Keymer again."
Synonymous with the very best in handcrafted clay roof tiles, Keymer's tiles have been produced for over four centuries, creating ranges with subtle variations in colour, texture and shape.
Clay's versatility delivers an unmatched effect that makes handcrafted clay roof tiles unique compared with any other roofing product. From Keymer's Traditional hand made clay roof tile range to Peg tile range through to clay ornamental tiles and finials, Keymer have something to set off any style and age of property.
