Keymer restores roof on charming 15th Century Surrey home

One of the oldest properties in Farnham, Surrey, dating back to 1476, has been returned to its glorious best with handmade clay roof tiles from Keymer. Over 9,000 of Keymer's Traditional tiles were used for the main roof restoration of the stunning Grade II Listed Building, situated immediately to the south of the River Wey.

Unparalleled attention to detail and master craftsmanship were required for the restoration of the tremendous roofscape of a mock Elizabethan property in Forest Row, East Sussex. Featuring an impressive 30 lace valleys and three lace crickets (formed valley and ridge details that sit behind the chimneys), this unmissable 380m2 feature meant the right choice of materials, was essential.
