Keymer is the oldest UK manufacturer of genuine hand made clay tiles with roots that date back as far as 1588. The tiles that are produced at the company's factory in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, are unique - each being hand made by master craftsmen from Keymer's own Wealden clay and offering subtle variations in colour, texture and shape. The result is an individual, timeless product that becomes more impressive with age.
The company produces two ranges of hand made tiles, the Traditional and the Shire, plus a handcrafted range, the Ditchling, along with a comprehensive choice of fittings and accessories. The company also has the ability to produce bespoke products.
As one of the most experienced roofing manufacturers, Keymer has won much acclaim for its technical guide, which is now available from the company's website - www.keymer.co.uk. Other supporting material available from Keymer includes two CPD modules and sample tile folders.
With over 400 years' heritage in genuine clay roof tiles using methods that have been passed down for generations, Keymer signifies the very best in hand made clay roof tiles. A standard that can not be replicated by its machine made counterparts.
